Amba Kulkarni

Prof. Amba Kulkarni, Fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla is the founding Head and Professor at the Department of Sanskrit Studies at University of Hyderabad. She hold masters in Mathematics, Computer Science and Sanskrit and Doctorate in Applied Linguistics.  She has been working in the field of Natural Language Processing for more than two decades. She was the core member of the Anusaaraka (Language accessor software) team and is a founding member of the International Sanskrit Computational Symposium.

Gowhar Yaqoob

Gowhar Yaqoob is an independent researcher based in Srinagar, Kashmir. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literary Studies from University of Delhi. She was granted ICSSR Fellowship affiliated with Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University during which she worked on the 'Modern History of Kashmir'. Her research interests are Literary and Historical Studies, Translation and Visual Culture. She has presented papers at various conferences.

Arpita Mitra

Dr. Arpita Mitra completed her PhD in History at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her thesis was titled Modernity and the Autonomy of Art: French Painters in Early Nineteenth Century. After completion of her doctoral thesis, she worked on school textbooks in social studies for some time before joining the IIAS as a Fellow. At the IIAS, she is presently working on Vedanta in Modern Times: Re-interpreting Swami Vivekananda.

Jyoti Sinha

Dr.Jyoti Sinha daughter of Shri M.B. Sinha Independent fellow of IIAS Shimla,high school and intermediate from UP board Allahabad.
